She grew up in the Teton Valley area, loved music and played flute in the high school band. She fondly recalled her childhood on the farm when times were very sparse. She worked in Grand Teton National Park as a teenager and later in Jackson.
She served in the Relief Society for 15 years after which she was Primary President for 7 years. She enjoyed gardening and her humming birds.
Genevie married Clarence Kunz in the Idaho Falls Temple on August 29, 1951. They had 6 children, 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Genevie has reunited with Clarence who died in 1979 and three children.
A funeral service will be held at the Victor LDS church at 11:00 AM on Thursday September 21st with a viewing starting at 10:00 AM proir to the service.
