Published in The Paducah Sun (McCracken Co., KY), Tues., 1 Mar 1994 - FULTON, Ky. - Memorial services for former Fulton businessman Frank T. Beadles, 92, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at First Christian Church in Fulton, where he was an elder. The Rev. Milton West will officiate.

Mr. Beadles, a native of Fulton, died Feb. 13 in Lakeland, Fla., where he had lived since 1990.

Mr. Beadles was a partner in the Fulton Hardware and Furniture Co. with his father, the late George Thomas Beadles, who founded the company in 1919.

In 1945, Mr. Beadles was Instrumental in the establishment of the Fulton Bank, where he served as a director and later as chairman of the board. In 1948, he became a partner in the Fulton Ice Co.

Mr. Beadles was a member of the Fulton City School Board for 18 years, serving as chairman for four years. He was a charter member and past president of the Fulton Lions Club, a member of the Elks Club and Shriners.

Surviving are his daughter, Mrs. George W. Truitt of Lakeland, Fla.; two grandsons; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to his father, Mr. Beadles was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Wade Beadles, and his mother, Lena Stubblefield Beadles.
