Eunice was born in Maurice on December 18, 1926 and was a resident of Scott for most of her life. She worked as a hairdresser for over 17 years, and was also employed at Don's Seafood where she retired. She was a member of the Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church Community in Scott. Mrs. Roy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 61 years, Nelson Guidry; two daughters, one son, four grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, ten great-great grandchildren; and her brother, Tracy Dalfrey.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph "Bob" Stelly; her parents, Joseph and Marie Baudoin Roy; four brothers, Artie Roy, Sr, J.C. Roy, Lester Roy and James D. Roy; three sisters, Bella Babin, Noella Latiolais and Mary Savoie; and two grandchildren, Cherie' Comeaux and Stacy Sonnier.
