EAST LIVERPOOL — Hannah J. Thompson, devout Christian and loving mother and grandmother died at her home in East Liverpool on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017, following an extended illness.
Hannah was born in McDonald, Pa. on July 11, 1920. 97 years old, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Luella Taylor Fife.
She spent her married years lovingly caring for her family. In addition to her family, much of Hannah's life revolved around her church, the Boyce United Methodist Church. For many, many years, she taught the second grade Sunday School Class, she was the Bible Club Teacher, a Vacation Bible School Teacher, and a member of the Home Builders Class.
Preceding her in death was her first husband, James Otis Davis; her second husband, William Thompson; her son, Donny Davis; and her brothers, and sisters, Robert, Catherine, Bertha, and Thomas Fife, Jean Heasley, and Mary Kigle
Surviving are her children, Beverly Cain and her husband, Don of East Liverpool and Gerald Davis and his wife Clara of Cincinnati; her grandchildren, Jimmy (Marci) Davis, Mark (Suzanne) Davis, Melissa Cain, Aaron (Missy) Cain, and Matthew (Tonya) Cain; and great grandchildren, Tristan Jones, Isabell Cain, Sarah, Ashley, Nathan, and Jason Davis, Madison, Liam, Aria, and Declan Cain, and Tyler, Zack, Corey, Chris, and Jacob Davis.
