Born April 6, 1929 in Alabama to the late Dewey L. And Grace W. Emfinger, she had been a resident of Brunswick since 1955. Mrs. Burdette was a former bookkeeper, and was a member of Glyndale Baptist Church, and the Willing - Cheerful Workers Sunday School Class. She was also active in Golden Harvest at Glyndale, was a member of Georgia Power Ambassadors Club, and enjoyed traveling. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Burdette.
She is survived by her daughter, Lorraine B. Johnson of Brunswick.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Glyndale Baptist Church from 1PM until the funeral hour. Memorials may be made to TWG Fund at Glyndale Baptist Church.
