The Reading Eagle newspaper carried his lenghty obituary July 4, 1904, page 1. Summary as follows:
"Baggagemaster Levan M. Krick who was hurt on June 24th passes away at Homeopathic Hospital".
Mr. Krick was seriously injured in a fall of 13 feet from the roof of a railroad boxcar near Sinking Spring, Berks Co.
He was a native of Robesonia and was a son of the late Abraham Krick who at one time conducted the United States Hotel. A resident of Reading for 30 years he was employed by the Reading Company.
Survivors mentioned: his widow Mary A., son Howard of Robesonia. Siblings: James of Reading; Abraham of Altoona; Adam in the West ( Dallas, TX); Ellen of Altoona; Mary wife of Harry Levan of Reading.
