Bud served in World War II in the U.S. Army in Germany. He also served as a guard during the Newenberg Trials. After returning to civilian life he served with the National Guard.
He worked as a steel worker.
He met Barbara A. Boss in 1946 and they were married Oct. 11, 1947 in Fresno. They moved to Watsonville, CA in 1948 'til 1989, moving to Boise, ID.
He loved hunting and fishing.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, sisters, Birtha Walker, Jewel Ellis, and Cleo Dozier; brothers, Cecil Baker and Lee Roy Baker.
Bud is survived by his wife Barbara, daughters Sandra L. Tollison (and Wayne) of Bullhead City, AZ; Karen Trissal (and Gene) of Boise; Cheryl Ford (and Bruce) of Watsonville, CA; two granddaughters; one grandson; four great-granddaughters; two great-grandsons; brothers, Clifford Baker of Derning, NM; Thomas of Fresno, CA; and Earl Don of MO; sister Jessie Jorden of Nicolaus, CA. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Per Bud's request he will be cremated and interned at the Veterans Cemetery in Boise. Cremation arrangements by Aclesa Cremation and Burial. Private services at Idaho State Veterans Cemetery on Feb. 9, 2007.
