Charlotte K. Darken, age 91, formerly of Glen Ellyn, IL for 50 years. She was born June 29, 1920 in Chicago, IL and passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012. A memorial service will be held for her next Saturday, June 30 at 10 a.m. in the auditorium at Windsor Park Manor, 124 Windsor Park Dr., Carol Stream, IL 60188. She is survived by her daughters, Susan (Gerry) Olson of Oak Park and Wendy (Jim) Kemp of Libertyville; grandchildren Karen (Robert) Doyle, Erik (Kathy Grayson) Olson, Jennifer Kemp and Gretchen Kemp; great-grandchildren Abby and Adam Doyle; brother and sister-in-law of Clifford and Jo Darken; three nephews, several cousins and her dear friend for over 70 years Rosalie Jonikas. She was preceded in death by her husband Helmer Darken in 1999.
