He was a vice president of Maney Aircraft Company of Long Beach, California, and a retired Navy serviceman. He was an Elk and a member of the Fleet Reserve Association.
He was a native of Shenandoah, Virginia. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Gaynelle Thomas Dorraugh; a daughter, Mrs. Penny Galdun of Virginia Beach, Virginia; a brother, James Wade Dorraugh of Shenandoah, Virginia; and a grandchild.
Burial in the Mount Zion Cemetery.
