His wife Elsie McCloud died in 1966.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs Robert (Carolyn) Wilson, Crawfordsville, three sons; Leonard Jr, and Lloyd Pence both of Plainfield, Robert Pence of Richmond, 6 grandchildren and one Great Grandchild.
