Donna Chisum, 78, of Battle Mountain, passed away on Tuesday August 22nd in Battle Mountain.
Rosary service will be 6pm Sunday August 27th at St John Bosco Catholic Church.
Funeral services will be held 10am Monday August 28th at St John Bosco Catholic Church with Deacon Dennis Cahill officiating. Burial will follow at the Battle Mountain Cemetery.
Donna was born in Carl Junction Missouri to Alice and Clarence Battreall on October 20th 1938. She grew up in Pampa Texas where she worked as an operator for Bell Telephone.
She married Calvin Chisum on April 27th 1962 in Panhandle TX. While taking care of her family she sold Avon in Battle Mountain for 25 years and received various Avon Presidents Club honors over those years.
She was involved in the Alter Society and Beta Sigma Phi sorority as well as her boys' school activities and sports.
Donna is preceded in death by her brother Tommy Battreall and sister Dolores Hudgens; niece Sonia Battreall, nephew Mike Hudgens and great nephew Christopher Hudgens.
Donna is survived by husband Calvin Chisum, son Walt & his wife Suzanne as well as son John Chisum, niece Tammy Brothers and grandchildren Aaron and Andrew Chisum.
Memorial contributions may be given to St John Bosco's Altar Society.
