Bobanna (Bobbie) was the daughter of Robert Gene Scrutchfield, and, June Beatrice (Walker) Scrutchfield.
She was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She attended Ritenour District Schools where she met her high school sweetheart, Jerry. She and Jerry married her senior year and remained together until his death in 2001.
Bobbie and Jerry had six wonderful children. Bobbie had a variety of interests in life including her jobs, NASCAR, her morning coffee, talking on the phone, and, most importantly, spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a loving and devoted wife to Jerry, and a wonderful mother to Denise, David, Angela, Matthew, Daniel, and Katy. She adored her 13 grandchildren, and, 4 great-grandchildren, with one on the way. Bobbie will never be forgotten as she was unique - very independent, and, sometimes stubborn, however, funny, fun-loving, and, very caring. She fought the long fight with lung cancer, and insisted on taking care of herself until the very end. She was a 'trooper" for sure, and, she passed peacefully into God's arms with her family lovingly surrounding her. She will be missed forever as she made everyone's lives more interesting, and, meaningful.
