Funeral service for Mrs. Maggie Elizabeth Dale Boaz, age 85, of Fayetteville, TN will be conducted on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 3 PM at Prosperity ARP Church with Bro. Dana Crowell and Bro. Charles Edgar officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon Cemetery.

Elizabeth, a native of Lincoln County, TN, was born on May 29, 1932 to the late Oscar and Thelma Rowell Dale. She was a member of Prosperity ARP Church, past president of the Ladies Auxillary of American Legion Post #42, an avid bridge player, and a former Redstone Arsenal Commissary cashier. Elizabeth passed away on September 10, 2017 at her residence.

Survivors include her three daughters, one son, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; three brothers and two sisters. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband PFC Mitchell Maddox; husband, James Harold Boaz; son, Dennis Whitt; brothers, Joe and Martin Dale; and sister, Cathy Dale.

Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at 5 PM until 8 PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
