He married 1st Margarieta Koeck at Reformed Dutch Church, Flatbush, Kings Co., Long Island, New York, on 23 December 1743.

Will dated 29 January 1753 proved 14 Feb 1764. Abraham Duryee of Bushwick, Kings County. I order all debts paid, also my funeral expenses to be well paid by my executors. I leave to my wife Elizabeth the use of 1/2 my lands, meadows, and buildings during her widowhood and so much of my moveable estate as she thinks convenient to keep house with. The rest of movables I leave to my children. I leave to my son Joost Duryee £20 for his birthright. I also leave to my sons, Joost, Daniel and Abraham £191 15s each. Then I give to my daughters Nelche wife of John Terhune, and Mattensche, wife of Jacob Boerum, each £95. I leave to my son Johanes all my lands, meadows, and buildings, and he is to pay to my sons and daughters the sums above named; to pay £150 of the same yearly to my sons "as they are set down," until they are paid, and £95 a year to my daughters until they are paid. My son Johanes is to have the choice of my wagons and tools. I make my wife and my sons Joost and Daniel, executors. Witnesses: Daniel Rapalye, Thomas Edsall, Philip Edsall.

Names daughter Elizabeth Carhart, and her two daughters Elizabeth and Margaret. To the children of daughter Ache, deceased, to wit Daniel, Margaret, Jacob, Patty, William, Jeremiah and Elizabeth as they arrive at lawful years. My son Gabriel Duryea, Abraham Duryea. Appoints sons Gabriel and Abraham as executors with friend Tunis Hoogland. Signs with his mark. Witnesses: John Bennet, Jacobus Monfoort.


Daniel Duryea died before 1 May 1810; (when his will was proved).
