N. A. (Noah) Hunt, long a citizen of San Saba, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Emily Clark, at Baird August 25, after a lingering illness. "Uncle Noah," as he was familiarly known here, was a native of Illinois, where he was born January 11, 1855. For many years he was a familiar figure on the streets of San Saba and was respected by all the people. He is survived by two sons, Oscar Hunt of New Mexico, Finis Hunt of West Texas, Mrs. Emily Clark and a step-daughter, Mrs. C. G. Baker, of San Saba. Also by two sisters, Mrs. J. T Estes of San Saba and Mrs. T. G. Wallace of Ballinger, and two brothers.
