Mamie Stella Ballenger and Rev. Ewell Welby Brown were married in Richmond Wayne Co., In on May 28,1929.

Mamie was the daughter of Samuel David and Sarah Bertha (Moles) Ballenger. She was born in Albany, KY and had 8 siblings--one passed away shortly after birth. They moved to Indiana around 1920. Sarah passed away on Dec. 30,1928. Samuel remarried and is buried with his second wife.
