Mr. J. Milton Smith, formerly of this city, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Maggie Wilson, in Richmond, Saturday.
He leaves three daughters, one brother, Mr. Charles A. Smith, and four sisters, Mrs. Sanford Jones, of Caroline; Mrs. James Ballard, of this city; Misses Mary and Dora Smith, of Spotsylvania.
The remains will be brought here Tuesday.

The remains of Mr. Milton Smith were brought up from Richmond on Tuesday and interred in the Stevens' graveyard near New Hope church.
