Lewis G. Divelbiss, 76, Boulder, died Saturday, Dec. 3, 1994, at the Boulder Community Hospital.

Mr. Divelbiss was born May 26, 1918, at Gypsum, Kan., and was a resident of Boulder since 1963. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II, serving in Okinawa. He worked in sales and management. He was a member of the Mountain View United Methodist Church, where he was a board member.

He was a member of the board of the University United Methodist Church, Salina, Kan., and was Saline County chairman of the American Red Cross. He was a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Credit Bureau, both of Salina. He was a life member of the Lions International, a member of the Boulder Centennial Lions Club and past district governor in Kansas. He was a member of the Elks Lodge 566 and American Legion Colorado Post 10.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyngrace of Boulder; a son, Warren of Riverside Calif.; two daughters, Beth Steinbrecher of Littleton, Colo. and Debra Divelbiss of Boulder; and a grandson.

A private service will be conducted.
