Vera M. Heaton Hollowell, 96, Elwood, died Sunday at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital.
Born May 24, 1902 in Madison County, she was the daughter of William G. and Maude Brattain Heaton.
She married Russell C. Hollowell in 1927. He died in 1982.
She was member of East Main Street Christian Church.
Survivors include nieces and nephews, including, Dallas Walker of Frankton and Jeannine Walker of Elwood. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters; and a brother.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Copher & Fesler Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger Gardner officiating. Burial will be in the Elwood City Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
