Mr. L. C. Dickinson, age 94 of Jonesboro, died Monday, September 4, 2017. Mr. Dickinson was a retired millwright and was an veteran of the U.S. Army. Originally from Pennsylvania, Mr. Dickinson had lived here for many years, raising the family that he loved and being a good friend and neighbor.

Friends may visit with the family 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm Thursday at Edmonds Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm in the Edmonds Chapel with Reverend Eric McBride officiating. Interment will be in the Old Bethel Cemetery near Jonesboro.

Mr. Dickinson is survived by his son, Gerald Dickinson and wife Barbara; daughters, Pat Powell and husband Jeff, Debbie Herndon and husband Bob, Renea Ott and husband Larry; 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Dickinson and wife Audrey; special nephew, Kenny Dickinson; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mr. Dickinson was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Dickinson and Ella (Reynold) Dickinson.
