Patricia Mary Black, 75, of the Hideout, Lake Ariel, died Sunday morning at home after a brief illness. Her husband of 53 years is James W. Black.

Born in Jersey City, N.J., daughter of the late Michael and Elvira Marks O'Donnell, she had worked as an LPN in the Jersey City Medical Center and the Lutheran Nursing Home.

Also surviving are daughters, Stephanie Black-McDonald and her husband, John, Jersey City; Kathleen Black and her fiancé, Joseph Lynch, Lake Ariel; and Jennifer Black-Jewett and her husband, Frederick, Lake Ariel; a son, Andrew Black, Jersey City; a brother, Michael O'Donnell and his wife, Dorothy, Manchester, N.J.; grandchildren, Patrick, Rebekah, Guiliana and Gregory Black, Chloe and Emma Jewett, and Joshua Escobar; a niece and three nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert O'Donnell.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 305 St. Mary's Church Road, Lake Ariel. Entombment, Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge, N.J.

Anyone attending the Mass is asked to go directly to the church.
