SOUTH ELGIN - Robert (Bob) L. Nyce, 94, passed away December 10, 2013. He was born to Oren and Bernina in Ohio on April 28, 1919 and raised in Indiana. He was married to Florence (Elot) on August 15, 1942. Bob was a resident of the Elgin area for 70 years. He was a career truck driver, a Member of Teamsters 330, Member of the Taylor Family "Y" and a lifetime member of the Moose Lodge 799. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Florence, two children Charles (Nancy) of Carpentersville, IL and David (Pat) of Georgia, 8 grandchildren, 13 Great grandchildren and 2 Great-Great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, siblings and in laws. Per his request, a private service was held.
