Joyce J. Swearingen 94 year-old resident of Midwest City, Oklahoma, passed away in Midwest City, Oklahoma on August 29, 2017. Born May 28, 1923 in Bearden, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Willie P. Adams and Katie (Campbell) Adams. Joyce was a lifelong homemaker. She loved dancing and enjoyed ballroom dancing with her husband for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John J. Swearingen; 1 daughter, Patricia Watts; 1 sister, Lois Speed; 2 brothers, Howard and Elmer Adams; and 1 granddaughter, Mara Watts. Survivors include 1 daughter, Vicki Norman of Midwest City, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Darris Watts; John and his wife June Smith; Rebecca Hibbard; and Rhonda Cousins. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., September 6, 2017 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel with burial to follow at Chapel Hills Memorial Gardens, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
