DEATH OF MRS. THOMPSON
Mrs. Charlotte Thompson, well-known in Vicksburg where she resided before the war, died Saturday in New Orleans, aged 83 years and 10 months. Her remains have been brought to Vicksburg and will be interred here, the funeral taking place this afternoon at 3 o'clock from Fisher's funeral parlors. The deceased lady leaves a son, Walter Thompson, of Vicksburg. She was an aunt of Mrs. John Crichlow, of Vicksburg. Rev. H.C. Mayers officiated at the funeral.

FUNERAL OF MRS. CHARLOTTE THOMPSON
The funeral of Mrs. Charlotte Bobb Thompson, aged 83 years, who died in New Orleans Saturday, proceeded from Fisher's parlors yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock, Rev. Dr. Hillhouse officiating. The following gentlemen acted as pall bearers: J.D. Laughlin, T.J. Hossley, Frank Barber, Will Hackett, L. Auter, T.E. Hayes, T.J. Hanes. The deceased lady was a former resident of Vicksburg, but she had resided in New Orleans for many years. She was related to the Bobb family and to John Critchlow (sic).

She had four children:
Walter M. Thompson d 1944 in Gretna, LA (m Ida Faecher)
Frank L. Thompson d. 1864 in Philadelphia, PA
George D. Thompsom d. 1893 in Grand Isle, LA
unknown Thompson d. in childhood
