Retired Zales and Joanie Lamb Hair Salon AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Ernestine C. Lamb, 71, loving wife of John O. Lamb, entered into rest Tuesday, January 17, 2006, at her residence. A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 22, 2006, at Eisenhower Hospital Chapel at Ft. Gordon at 11:45 a.m. with Fr. T and Fr. Michael Lubinski officiating. Mrs. Lamb worked for many years at Zales Jewelry and did nails at Joanie Lamb Hair Salon. She enjoyed spending time with her family, furniture designing, art and life itself. Additional family members include daughters, Jan Lee Lamb and Joanie Lamb; son, John W. Lamb and wife, Sheree; sisters, Evaidine Harrison, Loraine Kerr and Judy McGrew; brothers, Edmond Collard, Dr. Kent Collard, James Collard and Benjamin Collard. Mrs. Lamb was preceded in death by her sister, Magdalene Cripes, and brother, Charles Collard. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 7 until 9 p.m. at Joanie Lamb Hair Salon, 720 Broad St.; 722-8181.
