Mr. Bobby E. Bonds, age 78 of Tallapoosa, GA passed away September 1, 2017.
He was born May 15, 1939 in Anniston, AL to the late R.C. and Flora Mae Heath Bonds.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Tommy Brown; two sisters, Sadie Bonds and Patricia Atkins; a brother, Charles Bonds; and a sister-in-law, Shelby Bonds.
Bobby was a member of Providence Baptist Church. He enjoyed cutting grass and checking on friends that were sick.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Alcolee Bonds; a grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Derek and Kayla Brown, all of Tallapoosa; two sisters, Ann Odell, of Jacksonville, AL and Carolyn Milstead, of Anniston, AL; and two brothers and a sister-in-law, Phillip Bonds, of Jacksonville, AL and Harry and Doris Bonds, of Anniston, AL.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 3, 2017 at 2:00 PM EST from the Chapel of Miller Funeral Home with Dr. Mason Bush officiating. Music will be provided by Harold McWhorter.
Pallbearers serving will be Ronnie Clayton, Kelby Godwin, Bradly Wright, Alan Chandler, Kary Kiker and Josh Owen.
Interment will follow in Providence Church Cemetery.
His family will receive friends, Sun. September 3rd, between the hours of 11:00 and 2:00 PM.
