A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the American Lutheran Church, 500 Church Drive, Rantoul. Burial of ashes will follow at Eden Park Cemetery, Rantoul.
She was born Aug. 27, 1931, in Atwood, a daughter of Alden and Jessie (Fultz) Wierman. She married Paul Aschenbrenner in 1951. He preceded her in death in 2007.
She is survived by a son, Steve Aschenbrenner of Rantoul; a grandson, Jason Aschenbrenner of Denver, Colo.; and a granddaughter, Stephanie Carter of Boise, Idaho.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda.
Norma worked in Civil Service at Chanute Air Force Base for 17 years, retiring in 1993.
Lux Memorial Chapel, Rantoul, is handling the arrangements.
