From 2 North Dakota Census and her California Death Record The death date on the stone is incorrect - not the first time I've seen that. It should be 05 Mar 1968. There is a large Navy base in Alameda County.
Her mother's maiden name was 'May"
She served the military in Illinois as a navy nurse. The state on the stone of a military vet is often where they enlisted or the unit in which they served. In this case, most of her service was in Illinois
She was the daughter of Albert Aaberg (25 Apr 1881-25 Feb 1960) and Flora (nee: May) Aaberg (7 Nov 1884-5 Dec 1927). Father is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Hot Springs, SD. Mother is buried in West Point, Lee County, Iowa, but her North Dakota death certificate does not show the name of which cemetery in Iowa.
