A funeral for Alice A. Frailey, 86, a longtime Lyman resident, who died April 8, 1992, in a Scottsbluff nursing home, will be Saturday in Jones Mortuary Chapel at Mitchell with Ardell Meland officiating. Burial will be in the Mitchell cemetery. She was born Oct. 17 1905, in Harlan County to Nelson and Grace (Herndon) Hoffman. She received her early education in Harlan County schools. She married John L. "Dutch" Frailey June 16, 1926. They made their first home north of Mitchell, where she taught school for several years. In 1960 they moved to Lyman, where she resided until moving to Western Nebraska Nursing home in September 1986. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Lyman. She is survived by her son Nelson Frailey of Caldwell, Idaho; daughter Barbara Jean Whiting of Nampa, Idaho; sister Erma Johnson of Holdredge; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, and a brother.
