Richard E. Ray Sr. age 71 of Hillview was born October 22, 1942 to the late Richard Bruno and Helen Bryant Ray and returned to his Heavenly Father July 1, 2014. Mr. Ray was a member of Keys Ferry Baptist Church and a factory worker for R.C. Cola. Among those who preceded him in death include his daughter, Helen Ray; son, Richard Ray; brother, Bernard Ray and his parents. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved (wife,son, daughters, sisters brother, grandchildren); a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be held 12P.M. Saturday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks (Preston Highway at Brooks Road and use John Harper entrance) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects from 1 P.M. until 8 P.M. Friday at Schoppenhorst. Expression of sympathy may take the form of contribution to his family.
