Services for Opal Marie Hogue Alexander, 91, Tyler, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Tyler Tabernacle with the Rev. Mike Littlefield officiating.

Burial will be in Bascom Cemetery under direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home, Tyler.

Mrs. Alexander died March 6, 2007, in Tyler.

She was born Aug. 14, 1915, in Atlanta to the late Willie Eugene and Sarah Ellen Pillow Hogue. She was a homemaker and lived in Tyler for 35 years. She was a member of Tyler Tabernacle, and was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Alexander; and four brothers.

Survivors include sons, Ray L. Alexander, Hemphill, Dewayne Alexander, Lubbock, Charlie E. Alexander, Bullard, and Willie D. Alexander, Mineral Wells; daughters, Betty J. Councilman and Patsy A. Alexander, both of Tyler, and Katie M. Fuller, Kilgore; 28 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Pallbearers are Nathan Fuller, Ted Alexander, Tim Alexander, Phillip Alexander, David Alexander and Japhen Alexander.

Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
