Candy was adopted at three-days old by our parents, Ralph F. Angstman (1928-1996) and Grace J. Angstman (1921-1985). She grew up in Van Nuys and (then) Sepulveda, CA. She attended St. Elisabeth's Parish School and was graduated from James Monroe High School in Sepulveda, CA, in 1976.

In March 2017, Candy was diagnosed with bile duct (liver) cancer. She fought the good fight ultimately losing the battle. She died in the presence of her daughters and close family friends in her Granada Hills, CA home of almost 30 years.
She was loved by her family and a host of friends. She will be missed by all who loved her unconditionally.
She was 59 years, 10 months, 2 weeks and 6 days.
