Linda Davis, 71, passed away at home on July 7, 2012 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Linda was born July 27, 1940 to Beryl and Vera (Brittain) Eakins.

She was preceded in death by her father, one grandson, Joshua and Grandpa and Grandma Anderson. Linda is survived by her mother, husband, Robert M. Davis; children, Steven (Stephanie) Davis of Perry, David Howarth of Des Moines, Lori (Randy) Avis of Woodward, Debra (Tom) Bustad of Dallas Center, Lesa Davis of Norwalk, and Michael Howarth of Lufkin, TX; grandchildren, Brandi Hemann, Christopher Howarth, Michael Prettyman and Samantha Bustad; great-grandchildren, Nate and Grace Hemann; and her siblings, Betty (Duane) Chance, Charlotte (Ron) Brommell and Larry Eakins.

Linda enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Per Linda's wishes, no services are planned at this time and a celebration of her life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Mercy Hospice Home Care or to ChildServe, both in Johnston.
