Earl Meldrum Harding Jr.
1970 - 2017

Early Life: Earl was born August 26, 1970, in Midvale, Utah, to Earl Meldrum Harding Sr. and Wanda LaRue Harding. He spent his childhood developing a love of trains and the outdoors. He loved to fish every stream and river he could find. Some of his fondest childhood memories are the fishing and camping trips with his beloved grandmother "Wa". Earl graduated from Hillcrest High School.
Life's Work | Service | Interests: Soon after graduation, Earl served a mission to the Canada Calgary Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After returning home, he completed a Journeyman Electrical apprenticeship through SLCC that led to 10 years of working in residential construction. In 2006, he met and married Sue Ann Howard. Together, they built a life of love; love for the outdoors, love of family and friends, and love for each other. Not many husbands adore their wives the way Earl adores Sue Ann. Earl preferred to spend his free time outdoors. If he wasn't fishing, hunting, or camping, he was planning his next adventure. Earl was always the first to offer help, the first to open a door and was always on the look out for someone to serve. He chose to continue his education in 2008 and completed an associate's degree in Facilities Management, as well as a bachelor's degree in Technology Management, both from Utah Valley University. In 2013, Earl started working at American Heritage School in American Fork where he spent every day serving others with Christlike kindness and a genuine love for those around him. He had an uncanny ability to remember names and all who associated with him felt how much he truly cared about them. He loved all of the Queens, Champs, and Princesses of the school. Earl Meldrum Harding Jr. passed away unexpectedly Thursday, August 24, 2017. He was 46.
