Clarence Edward Cooper, 77, died Sunday at his home.

He was a native of Melbourne, Ark.; retired owner of Cooper Equipment Co.; a member of Moose and Eagles lodges; and a Baptist.

Survivors: his wife, the former Sarah Robinson; a son, Clarence H. Cooper; a daughter, Sandy J. Heresa; and two granddaughters.

Funeral: 1 p.m. Thursday, Arch L. Heady Hikes Point, 4109 Taylorsville Road. Entombment: Resthaven Memorial Mausoleum. Visitation: 3-6 p.m. Wednesday.

Memorial gifts: Melbourne Heights Baptist Church's building fund.
