Ann Lee Dean, 93, of Muskogee, Oklahoma entered Heaven’s gates Friday, August 25, 2017. She was born July 5, 1924 to Louis Condy Wells and Minnie Belle (Richards) Wells. Ann attended Shady Point Public Schools and graduated from Panama High School. She also attended Draughons Business College. Ann married the love of her life, Virgil B. Dean on February 16, 1947, in Shady Point, Oklahoma. Ann was a secretary at Shelter Insurance and the owner of Mode O’Day. She also worked at J.C. Penney as a sales associate until her retirement in 2008. She was a member of Eastern Heights Baptist Church in Muskogee, Oklahoma for many years. Ann loved her family very much and enjoyed taking care of them. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Dean; parents, Louis Condy Wells and Minnie Belle Wells; brother, Paul Wells; sisters, Wilma Wells and Donnie Stubbs. A celebration of Ann’s life will be 12:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ron Lindsey officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 P.M. in Fort Gibson National Cemetery.
