MESA – George R. Lunn, 71, an attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice for 23 years in Washington before retiring here in 1963, died Tuesday in his home, 5521 E. Cicero.

Mr. Lunn graduated from Amherst College in 1925 and the Fordham Law School in 1928. After he was admitted to the New York Bar in 1929 he practiced law 10 years in Rochester, N.Y. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Survivors include his wife, Mary E.; his mother, Mrs. George R. Lunn of LaJolla, Calif.; a sister of New York, and five grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Green Acres Mortuary, 401 N. Hayden, Scottsdale. Burial will be in Green Acres.
