Miss Marcia E. Lufkin, 59, of Galesburg, Illinois formerly of Oneida, Illinois died at 2:59 pm Monday, August 21, 2017 at Marigold Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born October 24, 1957 in Galesburg the daughter of Erwin D. and Kathleen E. Stickle Lufkin.
Marcia is survived by her father, Erwin D. “Bub” Lufkin of Oneida; her brother, Michael A. Lufkin of Georgia; two sisters, Carol A. (Russ) Wignall of Aurora, Colorado and Caren C. Lufkin of Oneida; her nieces, Alisha M. (Gene) Bachman and Brittany M. Wignall of Aurora and her great niece, Aubrey R. Bachman of Colorado Spring, Colorado. She is preceded in death by her mother, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She had worked for OSF St. Mary Medical Center and Azer clinic as an aide. She had also worked for the Greig Memorial Library. She graduated from ROVA in 1975 and Carl Sandburg Beauty School in 1976. She was a member of the United Church of Oneida.
Cremation will be accorded. No services are scheduled. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Service is handling the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the funeral home to help offset expenses.
