Maria Paula Chinaglia, age 60, and a vibrant spirit passed peacefully on August 17, 2017. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends as she took her last breath, while leaving a mark in all of our hearts.

Maria was born on March 1, 1957 in Monterey. She ran a successful childcare business with her mother, Maria Aliotti for many years. She witnessed many children grow up over the 40 year span of the business. Her spark, kindness and nurturing spirit will always be remembered by us all.

She is survived by: her husband; her 2 children and five grandchildren.

A visitation & rosary will be on Thursday, August 24 at Mission Mortuary from 5-8 pm with the rosary recited at 6:30 pm. A mass will be celebrated at San Carlos Cathedral at 9:30 am on Friday, August 25, followed by burial at San Carlos Cemetery. To offer online condolences visit - www.missionmortuary.com
