Charles Wilburn Davis, age 88, of Hueytown, Alabama, passed away on 18 Aug 2017. He was a member of Birmingport Baptist Church and a Sheriff Reserve with the Jefferson County Sheriff Department.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn and Annie Davis; brothers, Bill and Donald Davis; and sister, Joyce Davis.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, three sons and their wives; one brother and sister in law; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, 22 Aug 2017 at the funeral home, with Bro. Buddy Price and Bro. Wayne Honeycutt officiating. Burial followed at Highland Memorial Gardens in Bessemer, Alabama.
