CORDELLE - Johnny Alvin Webernick, of Cordelle, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009 at the age of 59. He was born on Dec. 8, 1950, to Billie Lindberg Webernick of Edna, and Daniel Alvin Webernick of Wehonah, N.J. Johnny was a Master Mason of the Mantua Lodge No. 95. Johnny is survived by his parents; sisters, Debra Webernick Boysen of Aransas Pass, Danette Bundick (1957 - 2013) and husband Jimmy of Smiley; nieces, Jamie Prasek and Natalie Boysen; nephews, Jason Bundick, Jim Reed Bundick and Brandon Boysen; great-niece, Abbie Boysen; and great-nephew, Hunter Laqua. Johnny was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Kubecka Webernick; and grandparents, Bill and Imogene Lindberg, and John and Hilda Webernick. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today, Dec. 18, 2009, at Oaklawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009, at Oaklawn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens of Edna Cemetery. Rev. Danny Reeves will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Berry, Steve Parr, Richard Wearden, Jason Bundick, Jim Bundick, and Larry Hicks. Honorary pallbearers are Brandon Boysen, Scotty Kucera, Shawn Egg, Jamie Blackwell, Keith Smith, the Edna High School Graduating Class of 1969, and the patrons and friends of C&W Pub. Arrangements are under the direction of Oaklawn Funeral Home in Edna. 361-782-2221.
