Wilma Becker Crosby

92, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 2, 1925 to the late Joseph and Sallie (Lewis) Smith.

Survivors include her husband of over 25 years, William C. Crosby; children, Cheryl(Jim) Keating, Gordon (Janis) Becker, and Michael (Lori) Becker; grandchildren, Jennifer (Rob) Hyman, Jeremy (Laura) Long, Elisabeth (Seth) Ramsey, Joseph (Elizabeth) Becker, Matthew (Valerie) Becker, Natalie (Dave) Koett, and Hannah Becker; and 12 great grandchildren. Wilma was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph C. Becker and four brothers, Harold, Loren, Orval, and Dwight Smith.

Wilma was known as the communicator of the family, aka "Communication Central." Also known as a fashionista, she was an excellent seamstress.

She was a longtime member of St. Luke Catholic Church.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2017 from 9-10:30 a.m. at Leppert Mortuary - Nora Chapel, 740 E. 86th Street, Indianapolis, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church, 7575 Holliday Drive East, Indianapolis. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
