SADIE C. ROBERTS DIES WEDNESDAY AT ANNABELLA

Large Family Mourns Loss of Splendid Mother

Mrs. Sadie Camp Roberts, 36, wife of Edward Roberts died of childbirth at the family home in Annabella shortly after 4:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. The baby did not live.

Mrs. Roberts was the mother of eleven children, nine of whom are living. The survivors are the husband; the children, Deck Roberts, who has been employed in Salt Lake the past two years; Morris Roberts, who has been employed in Richfield nearly two years; Inez, Fawn, Enid, Wayne, Arden, Kent and Clifford Roberts, all of Annabella; her mother, Mrs. Ellzabeth Camp of Richfield, and the following brothers and sisters; Wm. Camp and Mrs. Arnold Brown of Burrville, Leo Camp of Annabella, Mrs. Floyd Roberts of Richfield, Jean Camp of Salt Lake, Mrs. Don Despain of Holbrook, Arizona, Mrs. Roy Gardiner of Magna, Mrs. Peter Graham of West Los Angeles, California and Earl Camp of Richfield.

Mrs. Roberts death came as a shock to her family and friends, as she had attended mutual only Tuesday evening and had been going about her work as usual early Wednesday morning when she be came ill. Her passing is felt keenly not only because she leaves a large family of minor children but also because she has devoted a life of service to her family and friends. She was born November 8, 1898, at Lakeview, Utah, a daughter of William and Elizabeth Camp and moved with her parents to Annabella in 1912. Her marriage to Edward Roberts of Annabella took place in May, 1914, and they made their home at Annabella except for short periods spent in Richfield and Monroe.

Mrs. Roberts always assisted in auxiliary organizations of the Annabella ward she served as a teacher and chorister in the Relief society. From the time she was a young girl she was active in music circles having an exceptionally musical soprano voice. When she was only fifteen or sixteen years of age she was a member of a mixed quartet which won in a Sevier stake and inter-stake contest. Her work in this respect will be greatly missed by her associates.

Funeral services will be held in the Annabella ward chapel Friday.
