Barbara J. Heille, of New Ulm, MN was 65 years of age when she peacefully passed away, with her family by her side, on Sunday, August 20, 2017, at the New Ulm Medical Center in New Ulm. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin J. and June (Simpson) Heille; and infant grandson, Logan.

Barbara was a 1970 graduate of New Ulm Public High School. She continued her education at College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, attaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Women’s Studies from the MN State University in Mankato. Barbara later moved back to New Ulm where she raised her family, & lived the rest of her life.

She had an artistic gift for embroidery work, and crocheting; loved reading; and enjoyed watching a good St. Louis Cardinals baseball game.

What she enjoyed most in life was spending time with her family; especially being able to be a part of her grand-children’s lives and watching them grow.
