He was born in Orviston, February 22, 1906, a son of Burton and Blanche Taylor Morgret.
George was a retired brick layer, having been employed at Irwin and Kuntz Construction Company, Lock Haven.
He was survived by two daughters, Gloria Royer of Lock Haven RD and Georgie Robb of Broadheadsville; two brothers, Harry of Farrandsville and Frederick of Beech Creek; three sisters, Rachael Morgret of Farrandsville, Elverta Childs of Silver Springs, MD, and Goldie Toner of Beech Creek; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Helt funeral Home, Lock Haven, with the Reverend John L. Bundy officiating.
Interment was in the Dunnstown Cemetery.
