Mrs. Kathleen Barbee LaRue, 105, of West Palm Beach, Fla., formerly of Springfield, died at 2:10 p.m. Saturday at Good Samaritan Hospital, West Palm Beach.
She was born Aug. 22, 1885, in Auburn, the daughter of Byron and Mary Jane Barbee. Preceding her in death were her husband, John M. LaRue; one daughter, Dorothy Jane LaRue Huff; one sister, Dorothy; and one brother, Duncan.
Mrs. LaRue was a graduated of Brown's Business College and worked as a secretary until her retirement.
Surviving are one son, John B. LaRue of Chatham; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; and one sister, Mrs. J. P. Ingels of DeSoto, Mo.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Quattlebaum Funeral Home, West Palm Beach, Fla.
