FUNERAL SERVICE CONDUCTED SUNDAY
Complications From High Blood Pressure Result In W. H. Holeman Death
Funeral rites were held Sunday afternoon at the Countyline Baptist church for William Henry Holeman 67, who died at his home half a mile west of Tussy, Saturday morning about 10 o'clock.
The services were conducted by the Rev Frank Sutton, with burial in the Dixie cemetery under the direction of the Beeson Grantham funeral home. His death was caused by complications resulting from high blood pressure.
Holeman was born in Gainesville Mo. to Mary Ann 'Ellis' and William B. Holeman (1830-1878). His father bought land and built the Holeman Mill on Bryant Creek. During the civil war, bushwhackers were in and about the area creating havoc. William died in 1878, and mother Mary then sold the property, and she passed away in 1890 when William was 19. William married Rosa Lee Burns about 1893. William and Rosa, with 6 year old Gertie are found in the 1900 census in Ardmore, Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory. The 1913 Lawton Directory shows them living in Lawton, OK. 1920 Census shows the 3 living in King, Stephens, Oklahoma. William is a farmer with owning a home. Daughter Gertrude is age 25. In the 1930 census, farmer William, Rosie, Gertie McLaughlin and daughter Louise McLaughlin now live in Parks, Stephens, Oklahoma.

He was noted to be an employe of an oil company in the Tussy field at the time of his death.
Surviving relatives include his wife Mrs. Rosie Holeman; one daughter Mrs. Gertie Swanson of near Tussy; one granddaughter Mrs. Nat Add of Duncan, Mrs. Margaret Oliver of Amarillo, Texas, and Mrs. Susie Mauldin of Long Beach Calif.; and one brother, George Holeman, of Ardmore.
