Ernest L. Felt, of 613 Rock City Rd., a retired dairy farmer and Cattaraugus County Highway employee, died Sunday, August 22, 1965 in Mountain Clinic, Olean, after several months illness. He was 89. Mr. Felt was born in Randolph. He retired 14 years ago as a carpenter and mason for the highway department. He wife, the former Hattie Wolfe, died in 1959. He is survived by four sons, Orlie or South Dayton, Floyd of Hamburg, Henry of Kennedy, and Orville, Little Valley; two daughters, Mrs. John Richter of East Amherst, and Mrs. Harold Bell of Olean, 25 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. The Rev. Bruce Felt pastor of the Ivory,N.Y. Baptist Church, a great nephew, officiated at funeral services at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 25, 1965 in the VanRensselaer Funeral Home. Burial was in Wesley Cemetery, Gowanda.
