Mary Adams-Thompson
Mary graduated from Kansas University and married fellow KU graduate Robert Adams.
After working at Lincoln Family Services, she earned a MSW at the University of Nebraska and became a tenured professor in Gradate School of Social Work where she taught for decades before retiring.
Through out her career, Mary inspired her many students to work for the benefit of others and demonstrated her own commitment by serving on the Foster Care Review Board.
After, Roberts passing and her retirement, Mary married George Thompson and moved to Santa Barbara, California and then to Wilmington North Carolina.
Survived by:
Daughters: Nancy Roberts (Doug) and Tina (Jim) Hille
Grandchildren: Melissa, Tyler and Christi
Great grandchildren: Madison and Emily
