Dixie Lee Holliday passed away peacefully at home in St. Maries on July 16, 2013.

She was born in Spokane to Ed and Audrey Bachman on May 8, 1931. She graduated from Rogers High School and married Urnie G. Holliday on March 2, 1951.

Together they had seven children. Christie (Lonnie) Bates, Clayton, Wash., Sherrie Holliday, Coeur d’Alene, Urnie (Ginger) Holliday, St. Maries, Vicky (Wayne) Hudlemeyer, Coeur d’Alene, Nancy Holliday, Spokane, Sam Holliday, Post Falls, Julie (Daran) Eldred, Deer Park, Wash.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Christie (Aug. 2000), and sister Joanne Everetts (July 9, 2013).

She is survived by her brother Rex (Jackie) LaLonde, Coeur d’Alene, her children, 21 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. There will be no service per her request. The family will get together at a later date to celebrate her life. She will be greatly missed and was loved by all.
